I'm a bit scared of baring all to a stranger and even less keen on the idea of doing it in front of a friend! But its an idea. Does it still hurt though??

waxing isn't too bad you get used to it after a while i have with my eyebrows i haven't had a bikini wax before i guess it'll hurt but they'll be trained and may do it at different angles which could mean it'll hurt less xx

Main difference is though when you go and get it done professionally they do it and once they start theres nothing you can do to stop it lol. Doesnt take long and although painful you get used to it eventually lol.

I have been waxing mine since 14! I still take pain killers before I go!

On the privacy side of things, I bare all as I have been to the same lady ever since I started. But they do it very dignifed and trust me I always feel super-duper-clean after it is done professionally.

they are all very professional..it is painful but not excruciating..I tried to do my bikini line with waxing strips myself..you need four pairs of hands..it was impossible and hurt ten times more than a beautician doing it..and it left the most horrendous rash..xxx don't worry...you will be fine xxx

I have mine done all the time. I am unfortunately abit hairy-hahaha. But i do have pcos so it kinda goes hand in hand and i am used to it! My poor mum used to shave my legs for me (lower) when i was in primary school. I been doing them myself since 11yrs old. Anyway, i also have facial hair but have laser on that. I am debating having laser on my bikini line but am abit scared.lol. So i am gonna stick to waxing.

The other thing i do use is veet. But it really doesnt last long. xx

My W2B used some wax strips on my back once they were rubbish, all the sticky stuff came off teh strips and not a single hair came out. it took her best part of an hour to cut the stuff off, i had a large bald strip on one side of my back for months.

Veet doesnt get to the root, it just takes the worst off as far as i am concered.lol. I use it occasionally if i am caught short of a wax and need to be fuz free! hahahahaa. And i dont mean for a hot date. More like a gynae apt or sumit-lmao! xx

i found the wax never works and hurts like hell.... you are not going to like this and it is painful but you could get an epilator designed for the bikini area but be VERY careful. Ive been told that works really well but am waaaaaaaaay to scared to try it.

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo

I get brazilians sometimes and they do hurt (but it's bearable) and it's over very quickly. Also, don't have it done when your on your period as it hurts more then apparently. I was shy at first, but they see lady bits day in day and don't turn a hair (excuse the pun!)

It doesn't hurt half as much if someone else does it and the way they do it lets you keep your dignity. You can get an electrolysis kits from Boots for £30 that has the big pads to do large areas but I'm not sure how good it is.

I find the veet face wax strips are better for bikini than the actual bikini ones, they are thinner so easier to use, they also do remove majority of the roots
