I'm not sure at all what to do. My friends are scattered around so much of the country i'm not sure where to have it or what to do. My H2B is having a weekend in a cottage somewhere where all the boys i guess will do what boys do and get drunk and lark about. I'm a bit worried about asking people to spend much money though. I don't want to be a burden on anyone.

Any ideas would be really appreciated!! x

We are hiring a cottage (seven of us) which is two hundred quid for the weekend so only thirty quid per person for two nights accommodation which I think is great value....we will be stopping in and having drinks, games and a takeaway one not to keep costs downs and hitting town one night too xx

I wanted to go away for the weekend but with money being a bit sparce and a maid of honour that's not really bothered organising stuff I've ended up arranging a few little things.
20th October I'm having a scrummy mummy night out lol well that's what my 8 year old son has called it. It's us mums from school that have started to meet up and go out for a few drinks.
Friday 16th November I'm having a works do - been told it's a meal at a casino and then a few games afterwards and poss heading into town
Saturday 17th having a chillout day at amini spa session at a local hotel then a meal with 3 close friends on the night.
Sunday 18th I'm heading to Betty's in Harrogate for a champagne afternoon tea with my mum, friends, mil2b and sil2b.

Been a lot of organising on my part but everyone seems happy with it. I've just made sure I've got money up front and if no money then I don't book anything for them ;) x

Im not sure what we are doing yet, feel the same about people spending money. Love the idea of going away for the weekend but with 2 small children don't think it's fair for me to leave OH on his own, especially if he has his 2 too x

i had a alice in wonderland theme party at my mums organised by my sister. one room was decorated in all the traditional hen party tack (mens bits, pink fluffy stuff and blow up men!!) and one room with the food and drink was done like a rabbit hole covered in black bin bags artificial flowers leaf lights garden ornaments etc. turned out great. we were all gutted when we ripped it down.
