    Heres a few ideas:
Use yours and your H2B's birthstone colours, this is a nice personal touch.
Or each of your favourite colours
Look into what flowers are in season that time of year that might give you ideas

    Hope this helps a little

Maybe add a 3rd colour? I'm have 4, but 2 of them are neutrals (black and white) so the other 2 (wine and silver) go nicely together but the black and white add to them.

*fingers crossed your not january and july* :)

There are so many variants of red that you could use tho, and like obsidian said maybe adding a third, something complimenting may help like forest green or red, white and blue (patriotic ofcourse ;) )

The birthstone idea was good, but we are not big fans of orange or green. So still looking for ideas!!
So far I'm liking navy and silver. Won't go navy and pink as went to a wedding in that theme and don't want them to think we are copying them.

I couldn't pick a colour either, and love bright colours in general, so we went with a theme of 'summer brights' - that way we could use pink, yellow, green, purple, orange etc and it worked really well! We made sweet trees for the centrepieces so basically anything bright made the cut!

Here's a pic of my bouquet - I loved it!!

We, well I, changed my mind! Went from burgandy and ivory to chocolate brown and dusky pink, with ivory, and it's a "summer" wedding / mud bath lol! You have plenty of time to change your mind, don't limit yourself now. I really wish I had found this forum sooner, because some of the ladies (and gents) on here have had some fabulous ideas. Just go through some of the older threads about themes and colour schemes. We both wish we had gone for a lego wedding now!!!
Also, just google wedding themes in images, and there are some geourgous mood board type pics, print off (in colour, I did it in black and white like an utter t**t), and then you and hubby2b can vote. If you know your venue now, go and take a look, take these mood boards, and it will help you to work out what will work with whats already there. You easily have 6 months to decide, and if you are sending save the date cards, no ones tends to match the final theme (black tortoise shell guitar picks with gold writing is what we did!!) so its all good!!! xx

I originally had burgundy, ivory and gold but thought after a while that it might look a bit dated...so we changed it to deep purple, ivory, silver & lilac...the four colours look fab together.x
