Inspired from Janie's Martha Stewart thread which I found the idea from. Link to that site is on my wall it has some great ideas for decoration and other stuff.

So basically the idea is to use wall paper to decorate the venue! I've been thinking of ways I can use it and have come up with the following-

Aisle runner- First I thought it would be great to use it instead of a carpet or whatever, but there's the problem of it ripping or not being allowed to stick it directly to the floor of the venue. So instead I was thinking of cutting strips that can go either side of the carpet, so the effect is still there and there's no danger of rippage or anything!

End chair bows- Also a link on my wall on how to make paper bows. But I was thinking of putting them on the end of each chair nearest the aisle.

Table runners- Can't decide if I want a single runner or maybe cut out a circular ones or something else. Might make napkin rings to match as well.

Garlands- Pic in my venue album of garlands I plan to make using wallpaper. Going to use them as top table/registry table swag as well.

That's all I've thought of so far! What do you think? Anyone else got any other suggestions?

I'm really excited about this idea cause I couldn't think a way to tie the wedding in together with the Lego theme cheap enough and I didn't want to go all out Lego. Hopefully it'll work out really well. Also link on my wall to the wallpaper I'm liking to use for it.

    sound like fab ideas.
we thought the same with an aisle runner, would it rip, or someone get heels stuck in etc, so were not going for that either now!

I was thinking wall paper would make great boarders for menus, readings, table numbers, table plans etc as well :)
