Is there anyway to get rid of supplier adverts on my wall? They annoy me :)

Me too lol esp when people offer to post on your wall takes me ages to find it. I know you can click on each individual post but there are so many its crazy, be great if we could have settings so only adverts we are interested in post on walls like if you wanted photographers ect. But if like me and you have a photographer it can be annoying going through advert after advert of them x

That's what gets me Mrs c. Trying to find something people have posted. I think I was looking for something lala had put on hers and I noticed she didn't have any. In my dreams :)

Yes on the advert near the bottom there is a block button, (I have very little on my wall as I delete everything once ive used it). Once you have blocked the advert they cant post to your wall but you will need to delete them afterwards to clean up your wall/

Plus they stop when you have passed your wedding day.
Block and delete :) it takes a while initially but you get there in the end. I only get the odd few pop up now x

yep. OH let me watch both Bambi and the making of Bambi so was clicking away and still no where near. noticed I had 300 odd pages of rubbish! no wonder I cant find the things I like :)

I let mine go too far before realizing I could delete and block, now I have hundreds of pages and certainly don't have the time to go through it all :P

I'm going to get rid of a couple of ads every time I log in. That way doesn't take too long but gets them down gradually.. Lets see how long I keep it up for :)

Reading this I now want to clean up my page too, only have 44 pages which isn't so bad, wish we could just delete them in one go like you do with your emails tho rather than having to do them one by one and being sent back to the top of the page after each one!

I know. I found it easier to go to a random page in the middle. 1st page you get full of actual posts and last page errors when you reach the bottom. its the 2 steps that's bugging me. feel like just deleting them and only blocking the new ones when they come.

the trouble is the site gets its revenue from advertising ( hence why we dont allow it on the forum )
the best way is as the girls have said BLOCK then DELETE
I'm guna have little but of block and delete time as watching a program and it might stop me eating naughty food for 1/2hr haha x

189 pages!!! OMG lol I have managed to get mine down to 162 but need to stop otherwise I'll be there all night haha, its quite therapeutic lol plus you actually look at the adverts and I have left few on there to chase up later :) and have come across the messages people have left on my wall from 2/3 yrs ago so have been reminded to chase them up too. I defo recommend going through them ladies even If its just looking or deleting some things as your be surprised at when you think ooo I'll keep that :)

I've done it, 2 hours but I'm ad free!! The I've checked a few of them out but a part from my venue (who i found through uk bride so obviously it works!!) the mahority of the other advertisers are no where near me, theres a dress shop in bude whoch keeps popping up but even that is an hour drive from where i am :(
