hi is anyone else having someone other than there dad walking them down as i have asked my other brother, who is very happy to do so, would like like to know who else is having who lol

my dad past away in 1998, although my mum remarried and i get on well with her husband, I have asked my brother to give me away. i feel closer to my brother that my stepdad and we have been through alot togehter.He cried when i asked him :0)

i have never known my real dad as he was a alcoholic and left my mom when i was little. so im having my stepdad do it as he has brought me up and really looked after me when my mom passed away! x

awww im glad im not the only one, i never met my dad untill i was 16 and that is why i asked my brother, i think for whoever does it, it will be a moment that they will never forget :-)
Im a Daddys girl me and my dad are really close but to be honest so are me and mum - Im wondering if its a good idea to ask my mum as well as my dad to walk me down the aisle

My son is also giving me away, he will be nearly 18 by then. None of my family will be at my wedding and it's just been the 2 of us for many years so he was the only choice really.

My mam walked me down the 1st time as my fathers not around,this time round i have asked a very special friend to do the honours, he was one of the 1st to know about us getting together so it seems fitting he has an important part in our day : )

My Mum will be walking me down the aisle. She Raised, clothed and fed me so she deserves that right. Although, she is adamant my Dad should do it.
