I am looking at hiring a VW splitscreen canmpervan for our big day, although we don't actually need any transport as we are having the whole day at the same place, my h2b is obsessed with them and I want to book one as a surprise to pick him up and bring him to the venue on the day and also for photos. As I am doing this as a surprise I do not have a massive budget to play with without him noticing!! Has anyone else done this or does anyone know of any good websites or companies that are well priced, we are based in the midlands/yorkshire area.

hi jane, not sure about yorkshire but when i looked at it a couple of years ago it was about £300..now h2b's brother has booked one (long story) and i think theirs was £50 in glasgow...sorry if thats no help xx

hi from another jane! saw one the other day based in wales, but will travel, quite reasonable too, I think it was only £200.

ther's a company called big day buses based in Grimsby that are quite reasonable, and also a company in Wakefield so not too far. i'm at work now but I'll post some links on your profile when I get home. We were going to use them but getting married in Gretna now so getting one from Dumfries instead. pic on profile.
I was going to mention big daybuses as well, they are reasonable priced. We were going to hire from them for our day, but we've decided we are getting married in wiltshire.
