Hi all, I am getting married at a registry office. I tried to get a copy of the vows what we have to say but it's been really awkward getting hold of anyone to help. We have picked "I declare that I know of no legal reason why I............. may not be joined in matrimony to............... I take thee............. to be my wedded wife/husband.
We haven't picked an additional promise because we hate speaking in public so why prolong the agony lol.
Does anyone know what else you say, if anything? Seems very short but that's all I got back basically from the head council office when I emailed them. I'm deaf so it would just help if I knew exactly what I was supposed to say word for word. Is there not an "I do" somewhere?? :/
