Im planning a vintage theme for my wedding May 2014.
Have any of you ladies got any quirky ideas???

Seen a few ideas like empty jam jars covered in lace and a tea light inside
and dark coloured wine bottles with dinner candles melting down them...

There are tones of ideas floating about the forum for this theme! Have a look under the diary catergory and read through some of those some have some fantastic things in both vintage and other! Also have a google and look on fb thats where I got most of my ideas from.
Inbox me if you need any links, happy to help!

Check out charity shops for lots of lovely vases, platters for food, crystal ornaments that may add to your theme?

    Are you having bunting?

If so, a friend of mine went to a wedding and they had bunting but each day guest had been sent a single piece of bunting to decorate within a colour scheme. I thought this was a nice idea but our theme doesn't need bunting.

Bunting is a fab idea. pastel colours etc. Cupcakes as favours work well. Floral plates etc.
