    Hi

I am just looking at videographers, ive found they range from £450 to a shocking £2000 for full day coverage! I'm thinking of going with the cheaper option but will I regret it - you know, you get what you pay for and all that. Videos on the site look good and feedback is good but they are obviously going to include the best bits of what could be very poor work. Can you request a consultation beforehand?

It is always best to arrange a meeting first before you pay anything so you can see their work in the flesh so to speak; ask to see videos from different weddings so they do not just show you the best ones. Have you thought about getting a friend to video your wedding? There are companies which can edit the video for you after you or your friend has filmed it - they specialise in it :)

Oohhhh I hadnt thought of that :-) Good idea!

I just know it will all be over in a flash, hubby wont remember a thing (he gets very nervous) and will end up thinking "what just happened" lol. Will be nice to look back on I think.

Ah bless him and I've been told it goes past so fast that some people forget little things so it is nice to be able to view the whole thing again the next day :P

most videographers will have a demo dvd that they can post over to you or a website or facebook page with some sample videos on. we booked ours as recommended by our photographer. dont pay anything until you have looked at some samples. as a guide price, we paid for the higher package on ours which was supposed to be £750 but we got 10% off as they like working with our photographer. but that is cheaper than a lot of places. most i have seen range from 400 to 1000 x

Hi when i was working out our budget for the wedding i knew there would be 4 things that i was willing to pay a lot for that being the venue, my dress, photographer and videographer i believe in the more you pay the better the quality and service you get my videographer is costing £1500.
i get the following in my package.
    film coverage to include:
    Growing up and family photographs
    Pre wedding shoot
    bride and groom preparations
    location details
    arrivals to ceremony room
    ceremony
    canapes and photo session
    reception arrival
    speeches
    cake cutting
    first dance

i get 3 standard definition copies 1 blu ray copy all with personalised box covers and printed discs and internet profile for facebook a bespoke disc menu end highlight sequence and own choice of music tracks.

if you can afford it i would pay that little bit more but do checkout there coverage of wedding before you book. xx
