Why not have your wedding later on in the day and skip the wedding breakfast? Then you only need to feed guests once.

Have a clear out, sell all the things you no longer want or need (particularly if your little boy is growing out of them!)

Check out the money saving tips thread - if you use the search option at the top, it should come up!

Welcome and congratulations, happy planning! Xx

Best think to do is to sit down and have a good look at your finances, in coming, outgoing , work out how much you can save each month and then start to think about how much you can spend on a wedding in 2014. xx

congratulations on engagement and your lil boy :D

think the other ladies have covered it really... first off date, and essentials then work out the desireables at a later stage.
try not to mention the W word that always adds a few 0s to the price!! and also, as MrsD2B has said, there are some really useful and helpful budget savvy threads here... including alot of DIY jobs. lots of people are DIY invitations and favours and asking mates for help as well. things like that.
just breathe and enjoy, dont panic because there is probably a thread for EVERYTHING on here!! you are not alone, and will find the answers i promise for a fab wedding day :D xx

Lula's post is what I would also say.
The main point is you and your H2B will be married, make sure its the day you want and try not to people please.

congrats hun, consider getting married at a different time of the year as your wedding currently falls into the peak period if you moved it back just a few months you could possibly get a cheaper deal

Get crafty and try and make rather than buy - lots of excellent threads on here for invitations, centre pieces etc. Have you booked a venue? If not I would definitely look at midweek as it should be cheaper. If money is that tight could you possibly put the wedding back a year to 2015 to give you more time to save?
