My friend got married in Chaterelault Country park (totally gorgeous) in Hamilton then Hamilton Town house - a town hall but it's beautiful and got outside caterers in - full day cost 6k. There's also Rutherglen Town hall which is supposed to be lovely inside and very reasonable. I looked at Bothwell Bridge Hotel and Sherbrooke Castle - both lovely and not too pricey. Good luck x

AAW Thanks everyone i'm from the east end too. Where are u from Leesy? looked at the sherbrooke but i love bothwell bridge hotel waiting on their brochure. I want it in hotel so everything in the one place. M y uncles a minister in Canada and he's coming over especially to marry us xxx

hmm midget, not sure a minister can marry at a civil ceremony? not sure though, you might need to check that one out! I would have thought it would have to be a registrar from your council that does it.

I don’t repeat gossip so listen very carefully!!
