Hi. We're looking for a venue in West Yorkshire that will allow us to have a civil ceremony and informal evening reception with a buffet. Ideally it would be under £2000 for everything - room hire, food, dj, toast drinks, etc.

Hi, I live in Leeds and when we started planning our big day we looked at loads of venues around West Yorkshire. Our favourites were Wood Hall, The Woodlands, Oulton Hall and Hazelwood Castle. We ended up booking our wedding in Italy but they were all fab venues. I do know that the Holiday Inn in Garforth do a package which is around your budget as I went to a wedding fair there and they were advertising it. They have a wedding fair coming up soon actually it may be worth a visit?! Also I went to a hotel in Harrogate to a wedding fair last year. They had an offer on where it cost £2010 to book a wedding in 2010, £2011 to book for 2011 and £2012 to book in 2012! Dont know if it is still on and I cant remember the name of the hotel but I'll try remember and let you know!!!

I'm in Leeds as well - but we decided on Gretna for our wedding. Try looking on the Leeds City Council website - they have a list of registered venues where you can get married, and the links to their websites. The Ramada Jarvis do deals as well I think, as well as the Merrion Hotel in the centre of Leeds. Weetwood Hall is another place that do weddings but don't know how much. Hope that helps x
