    Hello,

Im new to all this, originally we decided we wanted to get married in cyprus but which the cost of the wedding there then the cost of actually staying there we could do it cheaper here, still want a beach wedding so weve decided on cornwall, has/is anyone getting married there? any nice venues to reccomend on a budget? weve decided not to have a sit down to save money and have a late wedding then straight to evening reception/buffet, so many hotels!! :S

My step sister got married in Ilfracombe by the beach which is not quite Cornwall but in North Devon and it was absolutly stunning, they didnt have a sit down meal but a BBQ and the ceremny and reception was all in one place and they too had a late wedding, The place is called Tunnel Beaches, look it up hun, just google Tunnel beach weddings, it was amazing. She too was on a budget and wanted a beach wedding and even though the ceremony didnt take place actually on the beach it was right next to the sae and they could go down to the beach for photos, it was everything she wanted xx

We live in Cornwall and getting married at the Carlyon Bay Hotel in St Austell... Guess it depends on what area of Cornwall you want and what sort of setting - we wanted a sea view and somewhere close to home which is why we picked where we picked :) Some places that my friends have got married, and other places we looked at include:
The Glendorgal Hotel in Newquay - right by the sea - stunning views
The Greenbank hotel - Falmouth - Again right on the sea, these were really helpful to my best friend who got married on a budgte
Lostwithiel Golf & Country Club - set in stunning countryside
    Ours - Carlyon Bay Hotel
There's loads and loads but these stick out as best value and stuning views :) xx

If you're after Newquay then there's the Atlantic Hotel, Headland hotel, Fistral Hotel - think its called the Esplanade or something like that, Hotel Victoria, and definately recommend the Glendorgal... xxx
