Hi everyone, does anyone know of any nice not too expensive venues around surrey/berkshire? I'm finding everything really daunting and just have no idea where to start looking. Would appreciate any advice, or just anyone to chat to!

We're in the same position but a little to the east of you. Everywhere I like turns out to cost £7-9k... Booooo :o(

We've been looking at venues in Berkshire and they are quite expensive. There are a few cheaper ones though. I went onto google and typed in 'Wedding Venues in Berkshire' quite a few websites came up. There was one website that requested for brochures for you, which I can give you a link to on your wall.

Ooo that would be good if you could thanks LisaB :) So far we've looked at ham polo club but hiring the room was 3k alone and the vine near basingstoke which was really pretty but i wasn't sure it was worth the money! I like the idea of hiring a room in a nationaltrust house or a place like that but its just so expensive! Where have you looked?

i'm in surrey and everywhere is very expensive it seems thats why we plumped for reg office then picnic then evening reception in a hall we have done it for just under £1000
