I am so happy right now, please dont laugh cos its only a small thing but it has really made my day.
my wedding is a vintage style wedding, and my venue is gonna be great for that style, even the gazebo looks old. and when we first went to look at the venue i saw they had brand new red velver chairs in the dining room.....ok i thought, dont really match but i will have seat covers on them and a tulle ribbon....
went on saturday to see themanager about menus etc and she showed me into the dining room to select the style of chair i would like......
and there they were........cream distressed wooden dining chairs that match EVERYTHING i have.....my birdcages for the tables and old fashioned shabby chic photo frames.....it LOOKS like they were bought in special for MY wedding......(only me and the manager know that they were not) they are so lovely, its gonna look so great.
end of excitement for now. :)

wow you are so lucky - the chairs at our venue are not vintage looking at all - our theme too so we will definitely have to get chair covers to tie it all together! x

The chairs at my venue are all a bit tatty so I'm hoping by the time we get married they will have replaced them with something like that (A girl can only wish! lol)

when we first went we didnt see them because they were having a huge re-fit, and aparently the red velvet chairs are the newer ones, and they wanted to use them and they had put the wooden ones away while work was being done.
Its great when things start to fall into place just how you imagened them. Really pleased for you.

thank you.....i wouldnt have gone to the rouble of hiring chairs or anything, i would have just made do with what was there, but i was gobsmacked when she showed me them and so pleased with them....
