Hi everyone. Were going to see our venue tomorrow to see how they set it up etc and i was wondering what sort of questions should i ask while i'm there??? I thought about a few, these being:-

1- Do i need to provide any decorations ie centre pieces napkins etc?
2- Is the cutlery, plates, glasses provided?
3- Can we use an outside caterer, bar?
4- Do they have any inhouse services i can ring ie disco, hairdresser things like that?

Can any body think of anything else??
    cheers Hailey
P.s i know this has been done before but i cant find it :-(

How early can you send supplier's in to set up?
Do they provide table numbers/stand & tableplan stand/frame?
What time can you have the room til on the night?
What time the bar/last drinks closes?
Is the bar open during the meal for people to get drinks from?
    Highchairs available if having children?
If there is a safe place to put gifts or supplier items in after the wedding before they are collected?

    I'll keep thinking...........

The venue I went to see on thursday would allow you ask them to change the curtains to match in with your colour scheme...that may be worth an ask!

Ah the rehearsal, that's something I don't have a clue about!
If the registrar was doing the ceremony, would they have to do the rehearsal too?

    is there a baby-change area?
do they warm baby's bottles? (if these are/might be appropriate!)
is there a place to put your wedding gifts and do they have insurance for this?
what time should the evening guests arrive (if your having them)
do they have a recommended list of suppliers.
do you have to have certain supplier (e.g inhouse pianist etc)

Not having any kids so its not relevant :( (just don't know people with kids, not because I don't want them there!)
I have a feeling the registrar would charge a lot for coming out to the venue the day before to do the rehearsal!
Hails - I could only see this one thread, no others came up under searches, and this was from February.
Thanks for all the suggestions, they're helping!
