Hey everyone, I am meeting the wedding co ordinator at our venue tomorrow have met once or twice already but this is the final decisions meeting don't think I will be seeing her again until the wedding or just before so was wondering if there were any important questions you think I need to ask?? The wedding co-ordinator for the venue? Not like a wedding planner... For me it would be making sure they have got the timings of everything DONE, and I mean REALLY know them. We have a wedding co-ordinator with our venue and the things we need to sort out are... 1) What times the different people are going to be coming to set up, and where you want these things, like florists, table planner etc. 2)They will be setting the tables right? 3) Guests Parking 4) If we get the favours there in advance, will they put them out for us? Don't know if any of that's helpful, but hope it is!!!

at the end of the night, who clears your stuff away? like your decorations/presents/cake etc. do you have to do it or do they do it for you?

No not a wedding planner its the co ordinator/events manager of the hotel we're meeting with my wedding is all in one place I need to make sure I don't forget anything
They usually have a check list that they go through with you thats very comprehensive.So unless you want something thats really 'not the norm' they should cover it so don't worry too much.Plus if something comes to you afterwards that you haven't discussed with her i am sure that you could e-mail her/phone her or even arrange another meeting xxx
I know what you mean about e-mailing and not getting your point across,i too prefer face to face especially with my wedding co-ordinator who is not very good with e-mail! I wasn't supposed to meet up with my co-ordinator until 8 weeks before the wedding but there was no way i was leaving it that close,i had too many things going round in my head! So i requested a meeting with her last week to go through things and she was more than happy to do so.So don't worry about this being your last opportunity i am certain that if you feel the need for another meeting at some point she will be more than happy to accomodate you . Just remember you are the client and she is going to bend over backwards to make sure you are happy xxx

All done went really well we covered everything I could possibly think of went through a whole run through of the day and picked our menu going back on saturday to see it all set up for a wedding too so looking forward to that thanks for your help everyone x
