Has anyone ever been in the situation where they don't care where they get married as long as everyone you want is there?
I am having this problem and would like to know if anyone in this situation has ever come upon a venue where they just feel in love with it?
My h2b doesn't mind either so please help us. :D
Thanks :D X

We weren't bothered either and so looked at venues in the area that did good wedding packages. The one we chose stood out by a mile the whole place just felt right x

I think that's the best way to be; after all, it's the most important thing.
However, you will find you have a natural preference for some venues over others... I loved that feeling when we found ours, especially our night one as we were just looking at rooms above pubs or working men's clubs as they are quite inexpensive, then we found this one place and were like, ooh, this one!

OK thanks. We have been to look at a venue that we like the look of but one or two things and don't really work out although it is a very nice place and we tried to arrange a viewing for another but they didn't seem interested and now i'm lke well what do we do now? X

You've got enough time to hold out and look around. Sometimes wedding fairs have some good venue representatives.
I think this is the best way to be. That way you can make choices based on numbers and budget. Venues won't be able to take advantage of you because you 'love' it sooo much.

Have you actually started looking yet?? If not it might be a case of as soon as you do you will fall in love with a place. We knew all we wanted was to get married where we could have the reception and ceremony together. Must admit hubby was good and said defo no to some places but even before we started looking I had my heart set on a place, which when we looked (and it was the only one) we both agreed not to bother with anywhere else as what we wanted would never have compared to that.
Take a look around and get the feel of some places. You will walk into some and know instantly it's not what you want.

We only saw two places. The first one was stunning and in price range but it was too formal we didn't want that type of day and the one we went to I fell in love with its a zoo so at least we knew where the money was goin to and the place is very special for my family.
You will know when you have found the right place for you and our H2B x

We were not really bothered until we started to look round places, then we looked at places that we didn't like the staff, they just didn't seem interested or it was to formal and then we found our venue. It was lovely and in our price range, nothing we had looked at could compare for the price so keep looking x x

I think just look around until you find some where you like at the right price. I didn't think I was bothered until I started looking, then when I'd seen a few places I suddenly found myself paying attention to carpets and chairs and worrying about things I never thought i would! I'd get looking straight away in case you find this happens to you! Eventually we found somewhere but the "i'm not bothered to oh my god i'll never find somewhere" happened within a couple of months and took me and my h2b quite by suprise! x. Good luck. xx

Yes! The 1st venue i absoutly love! & always have done. Used to go their as a child, for walks etc & its stunning... Mt Edgcumbe House, in Cornwall.. & the 2nd venue is lovely inside but not too keen on outside. We couldnt have the reception at mt edgcumbe, as the boats (7min ride) stop after 9.. & then its a 40min drive.. back to Plymouth, so we decided on a hotel in Plymouth... I love the inside but not the out, doesnt help it is in the centre of Plymouth haha... but the price was right, its good for all the family coming to the wedding from all over the place.
Its weird. You just know when its the right place, whether its the most extravegant place ever or not :)

Keep looking. Have you viewed these venues dressed fora wedding? When we viewed ours there was a reception later in the day so was all set up, not that we needed to see that.
