H2b and I were out for a meal tonight with two of our friends, H2B best female friend who is also one of my bridesmaid's and her husband.
I had found a venue on-line that I like the look of but had never been in it so went and had a wee nosy... well it was perfect very nice atmosphere and lovely staff and best off all the function suit had its own entrance, toilets and bar so we will be totally separate which will be good as we hoping everyone comes in fancy dress!!
We asked to provisionally book it as didn't have enough funds to pay deposit with us, then our friends offered to pay the £50 as H2B birthday present( he is 30 in 3 weeks) as he doesn't really need anything so we agreed :) and we now Have our Venue!!
I still have another £50 deposit to pay next week, other than that it is going to cost £150 for a DJ till 3AM and £5.50 a head for a buffet.... roughly should have about 80 guests and we thinking of asking everyone for £10 a head to cover food, DJ and the rest that's left over will be put behind the bar to start the night off :D

Fab! Adult version of pin tail on donkey Musical chairs .... drunken of course! Dead Ant! ... when 'dead ant' is announced by dj everyone has to lie on backs on floor and move arms and legs like a dead ant no matter where they are or what they doing. Last one down does a forfeit! Could have different phrase for hens and stags Treasure hunt where hens have to collect items from the stags and vice versa such as a bra or boxers Suck and blow ... each member of the team has to pick up a playing card by sucking on it and passing it to their team mate down the line without using their hands ... can make for some good pics Pass the ball ... a ball is placed under the chin and has to be passed to under the chin of each member of the team without using hands Pass the balloon .... balloon starts at the back of a person and partner has to move it round to the front, between the legs without either party touching it with their hands
I would write up a huge amount of forfeits and little cheapy prizes as I know people will be drinking be you dont want them to get too drunk too early or have to fork out for alcoholic prizes
