    Hi all.
I bought my dress yesterday :) I'm completely in love with it and I'm so happy!! However I had only planned on spending £950 in this area, of course the dress I ended up with was slightly over, I could justify this as if I put aside £10 a month for the next 12 months I can cover the difference (might not sound a lot but I'm currently studying to become a teacher so the only income I have atm is student loans which are mostly used to pay the bills).
When I tried on my dress I tried it on with a veil which was perfect, however I couldn't justify the extra £105 it cost. Last night I was having a look online and I found what looks to be the same veil on the bay for less than £10. I am very much aware that at this price it is likely to be awful quality. So I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies, did you buy a veil online rather than from a shop? Did you get a bargain? If so where from and was it worth it?
    Thank you x

I bought my veil from a shop in Blackpool. They basically do custom veils. I went to the shop picked the material, the gathering the length (based on my dress and what I wanted) how many layers and how I wanted the edging and any diamanté and bead works. Cost £75 delivered in the end. Which is less than the one in the bridal shop and was exactly what I wanted!

I think you're right to be dubious of the quality of something that only costs a tenner. Take a look on €t$y, they have veils for all budgets and you can check out the seller's reviews. Also check out the selling pages and keep an eye out for wedding fairs, sample sales and closing down sales as you might be able to grab yourself a bargain.

I would be suspicious of the material for that price. I have ordered a few samples of material from online uk shops where people will make your veil as you want it so maybe look on those rather than the bay from China
