I don't think I will only because I don't like things covering my face but I do think it would look lovely and a nice idea that your husband would be the first to see xx

I think you need to wait until you have the dress, i didnt want a tiara yet tried it on with the dress and loved it but think i loved the overall look too so sometimes that will sway you.
You could have your hair half up and half down with a veil, just need something to grip the veil too xxx

I'm having a veil but don't think I'm going to put it over my face, also got a tiara. H2b knows nothing about them. They are both hidden upstairs in a bag lol x x
CommentAuthorKistHall
I'm going to have mine over my face as I walk down - my H2B made the decision, he's looking forward to lifting it up :)

Lana I'm also thinking half up half down for my hair, I'm not having veil over my face though. Will be wearing both a veil and a tiara.

I was wondering about this too. I don't really want the veil over my face but my mum does. I'm just worried about it getting caught when i try and lift it off my face x

Don't traditionally the father of the bride lift the veil up?

I was wondering about this. I don't know if this would mean the veil would cover my hair do though so you won't really be able to see it :/ I think I'll ask the ladies in the bridal shop, they should know

i had a veil for my first wedding and it was off after the pictures were finished i quite like the birdcage veils but not sure if they will look right or not x
CommentAuthorJoanna
I don't think I'd want to take mine off. Is that the usual thing to do to take it off after the photos?

Every wedding i've been to they've kept the veil on all day, I think it's down to personal preference x

I want mine on all day, plus I kind of like my outfit as a complete look, wouldn't want to take any of it away.

I want a veil but I have no idea what I want to do with my hair, so I will probably work my hair style around the veil. I know I do want to put the veil over my face, and I want at least some of my hair down. My matron of honour is going to do hair and makeup I hope, and she will have some good ideas.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
