Can someone please help........ there are soooo many different types of veils I am completely lost as to what to choose....... full length - short - finger tip - elbow etc etc ..... then single tier, two tier, three tier........... then there is circular cut or oval or just about anything you want, what is the best shape and style for someone who is quite short and a little plump??????? x x

I picked an elbow length one, I wanted a longer one but I had a lot of detail on the back of my dress and it was pointed out to me that i shouldnt cover that with a veil. Maybe start there - what is the dress like?

I went for fingertip as I wanted long and floaty, but not too long.

Then maybe dont go for anything longer than waist length (elbow) so the detail can be seen as you walk down the aisle?

As for the edging and detail, I would again look at the dress, if its very busy I might opt for a less busy veil but if its quite plain, then maybe one with crystals on

Decide on what to have once you have your dress. If it has lots of detail on the back then you don't want it hidden under a veil. If its plain then it might be nice to have some detail on the veil which then covers the dress to make it sparkle. If you don't have a train on your dress then it might be good to have a chapel length veil to add a train which you can then take off later. The best thing to do is put your dress on and then see what looks best with it. You can always buy it else where.

It also depends on how you are having your hair as well to if you need one.

I am going to get a finger lenght veil. but i have seen one that has cadbury trim if that makes sense. I am going to buy it and then when my dress is ready to try on then i will see what happens when i see them together

I am going to go for one waist length with 2 tiers, was told if you go for one longer than dress it catches on the floor and pulls back on your head ! X

i got a three tier which goes to the waist but the longest part comes off so it can be shorter as my dress has detail on back so will have see which looks better when i have tried my dress on xx
