Im going to try on Veils and Tiaras middle of April while the sample dress is still in the shop Im quite looking forward to it. But im not sure if I want/need a veil. I know I have loads of time to think about it but im not buying anything its just so I can see what I like/what suits the dress while its in store
Im not having a veil that comes over my face so would just be at the back of my dress but Im not sure if a veil would hide the detail on the back of the dress.
Here is my dress what do you think

Try it on, I found I didn't feel like a real bride until I had a veil on, but I said that to another bride who then said 'I'm not having a veil...'!! Awkward!!
See how it makes you feel, you don't have to wear it all day! x

I must admit I was gonna go for a birdcage veil but I didn't feel 'bridey' until I put a 'proper' one on x

Haha! Yes!! I'm exactly the same! I looove veils though! I'm having two, a long one for the church (which is borrowed from my sister) and a short new one. I'm thinking, blingy!! x
I quite like the idea of a shortish veil but with scattered crystals to tie in with the dress, But I will see how I feel when I try them on.

I was 100% certain I was not having a veil until they put one on me!! I don't want it to cover the back of my dress either so am having an elbow length and it won't be over my face.
I guess just try them on and see what feels/looks right

I never wanted a veil, I never wanted my dress to be covered up, but I do wish I had now just to cover my back fat!!!

Mine is so sheer that it doesnt hide the detail at the back of my dress at all. Its very pretty. :)

I had the same thoughts about covering the back of mine. Before I tried my dress I wasn't really bothered about having one, but then when i found it, it just topped it off and realised I didn't feel like a bride without one. I just need to have a look for the right length now. Some on the bay are lovely but I would try a few different lengths and details first x

From the pics of the dress I think it'd look gorgeous with a bun or a hair bow with a veil underneath about elbow length 1 Reid with a few scatter crystals on! Xx

Hi, my dress is similar style as yours and I bought a cathedral lengh double layer veil. Its plain on the top and theres lace half way down. It's from the same designer (Pronovias) so that helped me, cos the lace on veil match together with my dress. Anyway even it's double layer it's very thin and still see-through.

I think a 2 tier waist length would really look lovely....but I like them all though

Like the others have said, a veil with crystals on would look lovely.
I'm just having a plain one tiered fingertip veil which Im wearing for the church/photos then taking off. It's quite sheer so I'm not worried about it hiding my dress.

Mine is waist length so does overlap with the top of the detail on the dress, but like the others it can be seen through, and as it is champagne it compliments the dress.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

I'm not having a veil. But if you want one, a sheer elbow length veil would look lovely with your dress x

Gorgeous dress, like everyone says try them with the dress and see how you feel and go from there!! I am having the same issue, going to wait until my next dress fitting where i'll also have my hair done as well and decide! xx
