Just looking at some pics of dresses I've tried and have a wee dilemma. I'm very conscious about my upper arms, something that no amount of exercise would fix, and with one of the dresses I'd tried on a chiffon wrap which hid it well without being too 'blocky' if you know what i mean. The thing is, I think wearing a veil just absolutely completes the bridal look, but wondered if a veil, with chiffon wrap AND chiffon dress is all a bit much?

I think it will look fine hunni lots of people have both so why not??? but if your worried what about if you have a smaller veil, one of those ones that just cover your face, (cant remember the name will find a pic) so you still get to wear both to complete the wedding look but it wont be too much?

Thanks Hails, I've always been overweight and despite losing weight, I'm still big in the tall sense so dont want to overdo the bridal look if you know what I mean? x

Kimmy I thought about that, but tbh my opinion is that it could be too much... I just wondered if that was a general opinion or just me being over-critical x
What about a little bolero, they can look lovely and hide tops of the arms as well and could get one to match dress material rather than similar to veil. Just a thought :-)
I've got a fur jacket to wear over mine incase its chilly.

Oooh Dee you've only got 5 weeks!!! How exciting :) I tried a bolero but my shoulders are quite wide and the one I tried made me look boxy. Could try a lace or chiffon one maybe... then wouldnt look so bad. Thanks x

Yeah some of the stiffer ones might be a bit wide, try a softer one, like Kimmy said have a go trying things on. If you post pics on here the ladies are great at offering advice.
I don't know where the time has gone! Feels like only 5 mins ago he asked me. Had our first banns read today, and friday had a dress fitting and then my hen do!!! Its all very exciting :-) Make the most of the planning its great and flies by.

I agree, I think it'll be absolutely fine, but you should try it all on to make sure that you're happy with how it looks all together. xx
