I'm opting not to have a veil my friends have a theory that I feel too much like a bride in one but I just feel silly wearing one

So I thought I would ask the question to see who is and isn't and get your thoughts on them xx

I'm not having a veil because I don't like things over my face or around my head :(

I had absolutely no intention of getting a veil cause I thought they looked silly. But I've ended up with a cathedral one lol

I think I really didn't like them when they're worn on top of the head and hang down the sides like hair but worn under a bun looks really nice, bridey but not over the top.

I'm undecided as I haven't tried dresses yet-but hoping in theory to wear 1-think its a nice tradition! Depending on how your doing your hair u can always just pin it in the back and not over your face, plus they come in a variety of lengths so you've plenty to chose from, but ultimately its your decision!!

I opted for no...I was unsure what I wanted, but my dress would be spoilt with a veil so I'm not having one. Also I have a lovely head piece which I dont think a veil will look right with. Think it is a personal choice, but the dress and headwear you are having can alter a decision!? x x

I love veils, I'm having a cathedral one as loved it when I tried it on, but they don't suit everyone, my sister when she was getting married tried one and we both ended up rolling around laughing she looked so ridiculous in it. Each to their own jodie, if you don't feel comfortable in it then don't have one xx

No veil for me. I think they look old fashioned these days but each to these own. I have the most amazing tiara in I want people to notice that. X

it all depends on how comfortable you feel. No good if you dont like the feel or look of it. Try a few different styles on and see what you think

I'm not deciding until I try on dresses. I deffo want a tiara but I don't know if it will look silly having a veil for a registrar ceremony, however when I played brides as a kid I always had a net curtain for my veil so I must have really wanted one back then. Hmmmm it's a tough one.

    I can't wait until 29/06/2013
The day I marry the man of my dreams!
