This is my dream Vegas wedding... I want....

I would certainly add something leopardy - though h2b doesn't like it.
Will be wearing a turquoise cardigan with a leopard collar on my actual wedding day later on because it matches well.

well you have to think you be wanting food / drinks/ shows ( which are about $60 a ticket but you can look on websites for that) and trips you want to do i would say $1000 ish ... its difficult to say as the food varys depending where you eat

Ok, well we were out there for 12 days and including a 3 course lunch for 10 of us in the Top of the World restaurant, went went through about £2K out there. We didn't worry about money at all when we were there, as I think you shouldn't have to when on yoru honeymoon. That also includes money that Hubby and I spent on some clothes shopping and we eat out very well for every single meal too. Oh and that also includes the cost of fuel for the Harley (but that's pretty cheap out there too). Hope that helps babe x

Oh, LK's top tip for the day....If you do go to the Top of the World, then they do a lunch menu which is half the price of their evening menu. OK, so you don't get the bright lights of the strip view, but you still get an amazing view and the most devine food! I HIGHLY recommend their surf and turf option - half a lobster and a fillet mignon steak with purple potatoes. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! It's just a shame I got motion sickness from the movement of the restaurant LOL!
Oh and the money was also used for the Limo (I can also recommend Presidential limos - we used them for our 3 hour tour the evening of our wedding) all tips, my hair and make up, cleaning of my dress, 2 tickets for Zumanity, combo tickets for the CSI experience, shark reef aquarium and the Secret Garden, oh goodness and much more LOL!

I'm sooooo excited for you Terri, and 'well jel' LOL! I got an email last night from the Bon Jovi mailing list saying they're playing at the MGM Grand in May. Sooooo want to go, but just can't do it, especially as my contract ends at the end of this month. I sooooo want to go back there!

Oh yes! I've got a weekend of application filling planned as I have 3 deadlines for Monday. Hopefully I'll get an interview out of them, or at least one of them. It's a shame though as most things around at the moment are 12 month contracts and hardly any permanant roles out there. I did hear of one through Age UK where I'm working at the moment, for a job at another branch. Bit lower paid than I'd like, but as hubby has new job to go to in May that is much better paid, it gives me a bit more wiggle room.

Unlikley Terri, but like the place I'm at now, you might get to hear of other things coming up and be in a better position than an 'outsider'. Unfortunately, i've chosen a career in the not-for-profit sector and everyone is fighting for funding so everything is short term contracts because of that. They don't have the money to pay people off when the funding runs out, so they play it safe, but if they do get further funding then it's a bonus. It's a shame as we want to start a family but not sure how we could if I'm just on a 12 month contract as I'll officially be out of a job mid maternity leave which will then leave me with pretty much nothing. Ah well, the right thing will happen!

That's ACE! Oh, and you're right about not staying in your room too much. We didn't! The most time I spent in there was when I was having my hair/make up trial and then when me and MoH were getting ready for the wedding!
