Haha. My first boyfriend had his birthday on Valentines and I think I just wrote in a Vtines card lol, as he would get a birthday card from everyone else so mine stood out lol.

Lala, hope it arrives on time for him.

This morning I posted a t!mehop pic of last year saying I had just booked th venue for Valentine, hubby commented saying I will have to wait and see on Valentine what's happening. Hmmmmm

We normally get cards and small gifts :) if we want to go out we normally do it the night before and then spend valentines night in with film and Marks and Sparks meal deal :)

I'm starting to think my fiancé isn't going to book anything.... just going to have to wait and see though, as if is planning on it being a surprise then I don't want to ruin it. I wish he just hadn't said anything though and then it really would have been surprised... but I think he just won't book it and then I'll be disappointed.

Apparently hubby has booked somewhere. Don't know where though. Me thinks someone is feeling sorry

This is a first in many years. Well since we have been together. If we do go out normally it's to see where is available, I normally book places, including the local curry house

We've never really done anything.... he always says it's a waste of time, but then closer to the time decides he should book something-then finds everything's already booked.

We usually have a take away or m&s meal deal & cuddle up to watch a movie, I'm not sure if that will be happening this year though. We made an agreement that we wouldn't waste money on take away's or restaurants until after the wedding, as it was becoming a weekly habit & costing us a small fortune.

If it falls on a weekend (which it does this year) my H2B usually gets up with the kids & they all make me breakfast in bed.
They use a heart shaped cutter for the toast & egg, then put a single rose in a small vase. they can be good sometimes :)

We don't normally bother with valentines day. We buy a card but not presents and we rarely go out. OH's Great Uncle is having a birthday party for his 80th birthday on valentines day this year, so if we do do anything we'll have to do it on the Friday. We've got too many other things to worry about though, with wedding so close

OH told me what he was planning. It wasn't for valentines day but for our anniversary.. We were going to London on the 1st March to watch his team play and he was arranging for us to stay in London on the Sunday night. We're not going now as the game has been rearranged, so he told me. Kind of wish he didn't tell me because it would have been nice to be surprised, even if he just booked a hotel in the town we live!

We could but now he's told me I'm worried about him wasting his money when he could be putting that towards the wedding instead. It was a lovely thought but I know he can't really afford it

I've told him that what I've arranged for his birthday is a celebration of both his birthday and our anniversary and that that is enough for me. We both have a 4 day weekend so we will definitely do something else together instead :)

I still do not know where we are going. He's not mentioned it at all, part of me is thinking has he actually done it. I should have more faith

Well found out yesterday (he wasn't giving much away) that we are staying somewhere but that's all he's telling me. ummmm x

I just asked hubby where he booked for valentines, he said don't you want it to be a surprise, i said well will it be a nice surprise or is it a Cowes Curry House surprise, he said no, but as a clue, the woman who answered the phone recognised him, that tells me it's our wedding venue,

I think he has, I joked saying it was the squeaky woman from the pub down the road we go to a lot with the kids, but I think it's defo the venue. Last year when I booked I emailed them thinking it would be someone else sorting the reservations, but it was our wedding planner and she recalled us and asked how we were both doing (using hubby's name).

And IDL, I just know, I bet you look delightful every day, you appear to be a woman who looks after herself making sure she looks her best, but guessing it don't actually take that much.

IDL, I have more than one roll.

Trust me, I've aged two years since then and the age i am at now, those small amount of years make a big difference, plus Im slightly heavier.

Awww that's a better reason to celebrate, a birthday.
