I was about to do a charity shop run with two books (strategy guides from my favourite games) that we own twice since i moved in, along with a load of other books that are just space hogging, but before I make the run, it just occured to me I could use them as I'd never have the opportunity to rip apart part of my collection and use it to make something, but what could i actually use the pages for. I dont really want a paper bouquet, they look lovely, but Ive got my heart set on a brooch/button bouquet now

Am I just clutching at straws or is there anything I can use the paper for?

Ive already got my favours sorted but I could use them to go with the favours as the name cards...

Not sure about confettis as its that shiny paper and not the papery paper, might get implaed in the eye hahaha. confetti cones would work though!

I could probably get a few of the images out of them as well and utilise them somehow as im not allowed to have a video game table as he wants to keep them to tv and film and to integrate the compute games here and there

ooh i think il put them on my wedding pile and have a think!!!!

i wonder if i got permanent markers if it would work as a guest book as one of them is a hard backed limited edition - they are both large as well.

thats what i was gunna do but thought i could make summat out of them instead, ive loads to take round tomorrow as had a massive clear out just tempted to hold back on these two guides if i can make something out of them as they are from my favourite game series

we have two of the same guides and ive been holding on to them for ages and theres no point really lol, the rest of the books, if i want to read again il just download to my kindle. I tend to just borrow books so i dont have all that many, and i cant say il be sad to see the twiligt saga go hahahaha

I was looking at doing some of the hearts hun as there is already paper flag bunting at our evening do all I typed in was old book paper wedding ideas into google hun :) you may find even more these are just some of the ones I looked at but we opted for tissue paper pom poms etcits a great way to make things at no cost and the books have meaning to you hun so even better sentimental value to u xx

bunting would be such a great idea, there's some fab stuff there Id never even thought of, and those flowers look really nice, might have to have a rethink about my bouquet lol.

Yeah, thats the whole reason really, theres no way i would ever ever consider maiming one of my Final Fantasy guides ever in a million years but as tom has 2, i decided to get rid of mine (his are in better condtion, and if he ever decides to leave me, im taking them hahahaha)

oh my god, thas not actually a bad idea, theres more than enough paper between the books and they are the right size as well <_<

do you think it would be too much as the tables are all themed or, do you think it would bring them altogether as they will all be different tables but all the placve mats would be the same.... i cant decide if peopel would think it would look odd or abit random. I know like, 10 percent of my guests woul dget it, but i dont want it to look chaotic and missmatched
