ok, first of all, chill lol. calm down about it all and think carefully. This is your day, you have a long time to think about it, consider what atraxia said about tweaking your theme so you get what you want but make it a tad easier, and tell the attendants they will wear a style you want them to wear. Tbh, I would completely forget about BM for now. Figure out the theme etc and try to ensure you can do most of it. If not, tweak and adapt to something else meaningful. In the meantime, you can casually drop into conversation the divorce you are having to unexpectedly pay for and make out that it is affecting the wedding. You could even suggest (but pretent it is not set in stone and you will try to find the money, even if you have no intention of finding the money they dont need to know that) that as a result, they may have to pay for their dresses but you will try and make sure that doesnt happen if you can help it (as I said, even if you dont intend on paying due to finances being too tight). Then they have had warning that they may have to happen, you have shown that you are trying to work it out, and then they may back out themselves and because they have had some warning, there wont be a major kick off later down the line.
