problem solved!!!

i am not having a traditional wedding i dont want normal bridesmaids dresses. my dress is very far from traditional so if they had dresses from the high street it would look very out of place. he doesnt have the money to pay for it and his ex has refused to pay for it.
i seriously give up........

with the theme you have choosen do ALL you BMs have to wear the same dress. I think it would look nice to maybe have slightly different dresses for each. Then each dress could better suit that girls budget?!!! also are you looking to buy from the USA cos that WILL cost more plus you will have to factor in customs costs which they won't tell you about.....I have had this problem and won't buy from there again.
You have loads of time so you can still shop around for similar dresses. If you browse Fbook you might be lucky too as theres some lovely pages on there offering all sorts of things at better prices. Or try buying from hong kong as they will surely be able to supply for your theme plus they make to order and size. My dress was my own design and made to fit my measurements and all cost only £60 inc postage. Unfortunately the seller has stopped their business due to having kids but I'm sure theres other doing similar if you look.

yeah but bay of e dresses arent that good quality tbh i had one that was beautiful and the zip broke within 1 hour of me wearing it

well if you want them to help fund they'll have to have more of an input. Unless you can find 5 that you can fully fund then you can pop them in a peach meringue if you want to :D

if you wouldnt have picked them in a million years then defo tell them no. You are perfectly within that right. Explain that they dont fit your theme and you dont like them. Then you get out of that one and can keep looking for a different dress that you prefer and is hopefully, fingers crossed, significantly cheaper. Have you tried some of the alternative fashion places like lee louise or I think there is a shop in chester called soho so there may be one near you?

well if you all get together if one has a big enough car?? or even get the train down for the day it's not too expensive..

I said this before - could you not collect various 80s dresses over the next month and customise them to your liking? With a lot of 80s dresses you have the Lolita base.

Thanks suzky! It was the first and only cake i looked at,so much easier than dress picking lol. And mrsvander the tribe was a program on tv about kids who made thier own tribes as there were no parents because of some virus or summat, it was on wen i was in middle school. Im 23 now so a good few years back. Tube you it lol x

sounds like you need to just chill out, and settle on a theme before deciding anything concrete about BM's!

it's not just the dresses lol it's the centre peices, the flowers, the music it's causing so many issues with various people like registrars and so on easier just to give up and start again! :P i'm sorry i took comments badly. i had a really really bad weekend. me and h2b nearly broke up, it was the 3 month aniversary of losing my mum and i still havent come on yet and keep getting negative tests so i am on a massive stress and it's all just getting too much
