So... as you may remember the woman who i paid for 2 bm's dresses has gone bump - and gone off with my money. Spoke with the bailiff who said theres not a lot i can do as it wont be worth suing her - but i will find her cos we went in on the saturday and she said my dresses would be in the following week and she'd call me on the monday. She didnt but the bailiffs went in ont he monday and cleared her out..... im still hunting her down.

    BUT

I went to a shop on saturday and found a lovely purple dress - its a tiny size 4 but took my youngest to try it on - it had a price tag of £195. But someone had already bought it and had it altered then didnt want it..... so i got it for 20 quid!! The alterations are gonna be about £40 but who cares - bargain!

Theni took my eldest to a prom dress shop and found a lovely rufled black dress - similar style to the pruple one and it fits her beautifully. Slight fivers worth of alterations on top of the £110 price tag, but she looks lovely in it.

Very happy today and the stress of thieving cowbag is melting away cos im sorted for frocks now and dont have to worry..... :-)

How much would the dresses have been after your £135 deposit? Less than £60? If not, then you're saving money..ish!

So glad you've managed to get new dresses sorted and I bet they look stunning!!
I still can't get over how horrible that woman is, I really do hope she gets what's coming to her *grrrrrrr* but the upside is you've got things sorted in time for your wedding, from what I gather from that group on Facebook not all her customers were that lucky

If she has a shop, she may have a Ltd company and you can find her on Companies House. If you message me the name of the shop / her name, I'll see what I can find.
