Can any one please offer me some advice I got married in April and the photographer who took our photographs has only gave me half of the pictures we were promised on a disk, she said she hadn't finished editing the others , she then start making excuses why we had not received the other disk and now she is just ignoring all contact I try to make. Can anyone recommend how to go about getting the other disk I was promised ?

Trading standards would be your last choice, I'd go round and demand them first though x

Definitely demand them, if that fails write a formal letter to her threatening to involve trading standards.. if that fails then I would go to the local press or warn people off her on social media sites etc. She should soon sort her act out if her reputation is at risk xx

be very careful about ranting in the media or social sites as this can leave you open to libel charge ....

send a letter by recorded delivery

    Dear .......

i am concerned that following our wedding in April you have failed to deliver all the photographs. when i last had any contact with you on ............ you informed me that you were still editing this has now seemingly gone on for months with you providing all manner of excuses.

If we do not hear from you with in 14 days of receipt of this letter i will have no choice but to approach Trading standards with view of taking you to court under the supply of goods and services act 1994.

    your sincerely

Ok maybe don't do the local press/social media thing! My mum's friend does it all the time and it definitely works, but no point risking getting yourself into trouble over it x

Keep trying via email, Facebook, whatever you need to. Do they have a studio or address that you can go to? Otherwise trading standards.

Ask her first if it got lost in the post, then proceed down more official routes as suggested above - she may have been ill and not had time, perhaps?
At least she's edited them - ours didn't!

oh im keeping everything crossed that you get them soon, strange that she has stopped all contact, sounds a bit fishy, write the letter and see what happens, if nothing does take it further x
