I would definitely do it now, especially as your wedding is during peak holiday season.
We are getting married next July and will be sending save the dates a year before as people may start booking their holidays. I think you then send actual invites about 4 months before the day.

you can do it any time but normally the earlier the better. Remember your normal invites will go out around 3-4 months in advance but up to you. If its peak period then they need to go out asap

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo

We get married in sept next year and i am going to send them out sept this year so people have a year to sort out time off hotel(if needed) and transport(if needed). I am going to go to a hotel in Reading town centre and ask them if they will do a deal on the hotel or something as alot of people are coming that are not from Reading or the UK so there will be a far few looking for rooms

About 6 months before the big day is right I think for sending out save the dates, then invites about 3-4 months before.

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

we were told by our planner that anything from 6 months to 2 years is acceptable.... personally I think 2 years is a tad too far but we sent ours 18 months in advance as ppl in work were booking hols.... crazy ppl booking hols that early tho we did pick August so may explain why

I'm not getting married until July next year but mine arrived today! So excited about sending them out!! The problem is we don't actually know many people's addresses (I'm ok but H2B is useless with his friends and family!). We're sending them out early as its summer holiday time like someone else has already mentioned. We don't want anyone to miss it because they've already booked a holiday.

I am early with everything and as I am about to book a venue, I will send save the dates next month or May, but I do have family/friends coming from France, so for them I will directly send invitation, so they can arrange time off knowing they have to rsvp. so If I were you because you didn't send save the dates, I would send invites asap with rsvp nearer the time.

I would get them out asap, then invites 4 months before. We aren't getting married until September 12 but our save the dates will be going out a year before. We had friends that sent out ones 6 months before and then invites 3 months before. Should be fine.
