hey girls did any of you see 4 Weddings US today on Pick TV? and see the bride had a really small wedding and actually passed the wedding ring round for each of the guest to 'bless' i thought that was really sweet

I've not heard of that before.

Its a sweet idea, dont think it would work for me though, once it disappeared round the church knowing my lot I'd probably have it swapped for a Haribo!

Yeah it wouldn't work with my guests either, someone would make a big joke out of it and I know who exactly would do that lol but if your family are not like that I would say go for it.

oooh my post disappeared.. can't quite remember what I put now lol

I like the idea, I like all the unique type things.

I saw somewhere (may have been a film or on telly) how a bride was handed an individual flower from random guests as she walked down the aisle and by the time she reached the end she had her bouquet. It was really lovely how it was done.

Isn't it :o), I luurrvve all that kind of thing. Anything that is slightly different and involves lots of peoples smiles, who feel included just gets me all up there ya know.

I went to my stepsisters wedding a while back and it was really small due to the budget (15 people for the whole day) so no friends could be invited only very close family.
All their friends and external family got together and turned up to the registry office in their finery and as the couple walked out they threw confetti and cheered, then went off into small groups for a celebratory drink elsewhere (or back to work lol), as we all left for the pre-booked wedding breakfast. It was really lovely, they were were so pleased and surprised, it made them feel really loved and everyone else still felt as though they had been able to be part of the day.

personally I think it is a sweet idea but also would take up a lot of time with other guests just simply waiting. Im not sure if some would see it as a little pointless as it isnt going to do anything to the ring yet others would think its great and personal. I think it depends on your guests as to whether or not this would be appreciated.
