Please help....I'm in the uniformed services and have to wear boots for work. I visited a beauty salon and had a spray tan and to my horror, only discovered I have a line around my lower leg where my boots are. I have bought my ideal dress and yes it tea - length therefore showing my legs. What can I do....has anyone had this problem, any suggestions

Get whats not been sprayed or rubbed off due to your boots (i dont know if you were wearing at time of tan has came of due to wearing them) spray tanned!?
hahahaha.....no the top of my boots have left a ( what I think is) a permanent line around my lower leg. Not the spray tan.....I only noticed it after the spray tan. It looks like I've had socks on and sunbathed.
Would be funny if it wasn't my legs

you could ask them to do the but under/over the line a bit darker... im sure theres something they could do - or try that rub on tan as a cover up? or airbrush legs- they sell that at supermarkets xx
its not the tan that the problem.....the fact that I have lines around my lower legs is really doing my head in....other service's must have had this problem xx

If you take a few days leave the line goes away and the tan stays on for a while. If not going to thin socks may help? And yeah i have this problem all the time lol. Good luck. xx

get new boots! if your boots are leaving a permanent line around your ankles, then I would say they are far too tight.
i wear boots to work all the time, and have never had that problem with a tan. Just make sure you are not going straight from work to the tan place. Although I have had sock lines when I have had a tan before but it never affected the way tan took to the skin?
