Bought mine this weekend, went to have a look at Debenhams and they had 20% of this weekend. Have bought a sexy bra, thong and suspender belt. They all have little diamonds on and are jasper conrad. Also bought these silk slipper type shoes with a heel on for getting ready in the morning. So excited. Hope the h2b likes them on the wedding night!

i have bought a very boring but practical strapless bra but gonna get something nearer the time thats a bit more sexy for the evening, ill wait til i know what size my b00bs are gonna be coz they keep getting bigger :s uh oh! sorry tmi. anywho, ill probably just have some practical granny pants too! lol. i love my comfort!! i actually have some that have a rubber bit on the edges that stop you getting a wedgie, they are brill!! im only 24, i shouldnt have these. i need to sort my life out!

I think Im getting some Spanx the ones with an open gusset lol because I dont need a bra under my dress and I dont want to have to worry about my knockers being uncomfortable. I will get something a little Se xier for the honeymoon though.

well im glad i can advise you all on this having done the whole wedding dress and knickers thing,,,yes yes yes you want the pretty knickers to impress hubby to be and you want to look all sexy BUT go for comfort!!,,,your dress will be heavy and possibly itchynext to your skin,i bought white lacy knickers,on the day i put them on and i was like omg get them off,i settles for my little miss naughty knickers,no one knew i had them on and when we got home i simply slipped the lacy ones back on for when glenn took my dress off!! trust me ladies youl thank me lol

another word of advise even if you think you dont need a bra,WEAR ONE!!!,iv seen so many pictures were brides are popping out here there and everywere because they didnt wear a bra,i wore a white strapless bra and my b o o b i e s stayed put all day!

I have tried my dress in with a bra and without and it just doesnt look nice with a bra lol

I'm going to get one of the Wonderbra Ultimate strapless bras and some nice french knickers to go with it I think - pretty but comfortable at the same time :o)

My Baske is from bravissimo, its the bridal one is so comfy yet looks sexy too. Its funny but I had the brochure and H2b was looking through it saying oooh you'd look nice in this one and that one and pointed out the exact one I have bought hehe! Thankfully its so soft material and light that I think I can have best of both worlds.

I'm not wearing a bra with my dress and I will not be falling out. I think it's a gross generalisation to say that all brides who don't wear a bra with their dress will be falling out all over the place.

ive brought a strapless bra and some nice shorts. but i have got a thong and some nice knickers incase i change my mind on the dayx

I originally had a gorgeous basque from figleaves but it doesn't work with the dress. Now I have a steel boned corset instead, which I got from bay of e (corsets boulevard). It's so comfortable (although I've worn steel boned corstes for a while so I'm used to them).
I haven't picked my underwear yet, but I'll probably go for comfort with bikini briefs- no wedgies for me! Besides, Chris and I are going to be far too worn out (and probably drunk) to celebrate man-and-wife style after the reception. Sexy lingerie would be wasted- saving all that for the honeymoon :D

I do need to buy a bra for the reception- I can't do my first dance in a steel boned corset and it wouldn't work with the style of dress I'm wearing in the evening. I think I may check out Debenhams as well after work tomorrow.

Why would a corset make you look bigger? The whole point of a corset is to make your waist smaller!

Lol i was thinking because a corset would be extra layer wouldnt it? My dress is a corset but doesnt do the thing thats makes b00bs look great and arent corsets best for that instead of a bra?

The lacings on the back of a dress aren't really a corset. They'll pull you in a little, but it's not quite the same (and the way they're laced isn't really best for pulling in the waist, which is why boobs look great in a well-fitting corset). A corset with a shaped bust is probably the best for cleavage but which one would work depends on the shape of your dress.
