just an update, found a lump 2 wks ago ish which has gone but i went to have a breast exam at docs this morn and she said she couldnt feel anything but referred me to hospital for ultrasound scan. is this normal practice even if she couldnt find anything? x

I assume it's just a safety measure hun.. It's best to be fully sure of everything :) Did you ask her if that's a normal procedure to happen?? xx

aww hun i really wouldnt worrie sometimes they like to be sure ive just asked my mam who is a nurse and she sed it will b nothing to worry about they will be checking to make sure the lump has definatly gone to which she says could b a simple cyst over productive milk gland and many other small minor things hun try not to worry bout it xx

ah, i'll try not to worry myself anymore stupid than i am lol!!! i just imagine that ill die from cancer early like my dad and leave my baby girl alone and she wont remember me. prob very silly of me but cant help it x
well my letter came yesterday, hospital appt 7 july. my doc said was for ultrasound but when it came it was mammogram and ultrasound. am worried now cos doc said i was too young for a mammogram so i dont understand why having both when doc said would be just ultrasound and she couldnt feel anything. anyone else had this happen? x

Listen ere you.... STOP WORRYING!!!! They aint gonna find nothing, the only reason your going for the ultrasound and mammogram is because of your family history!!! YOU ARE GOING TO BE JUST FINE!!!!!!!!

totaly normal practise hun ......when i found mine i had .....mamogram,ultrssound and a needle biopsy .....was all good though , it is just a mass of cells ( have had it now for 15+yrs)
i had scans on both my breast lumps,i think its normal practice hunni..hope your doing ok x~x~x

well i go for my mammogram and ultrasound tomorrow. i pray to god (and i'm not religious) that its totally fine. everyone keeps saying it'll be ok but its not them that its directly affecting and them that would have to deal with it. am hoping i get a good nights sleep but i do worry and suffer from insomnia because of it. my mum's picking my girl up from school and taking her to her ballet lesson cos appt is same time as lesson. my fella's coming with me cos i dont wanna go on my own. wish me luck lol!! x

just an update - got results back today for mammogram and ultrasound and its clear - wooooo hooooo. god i'm so happy i havent got anything. thanks everyone who has given me words of encouragement mwah xxx

i had this problem just over a year ago. she thought they were cysts for me but wanted to just have an ultrasound to make sure. so i would of thought its just to be safe.
