So excited just booked our photographer for a free shoot on the 2nd of June can't wait :) x

So you heard it girls. Link to your photgraphers (if involved in the shoot giveaway i persume) are welcome here so we can all have a nosey x

Red-dragon you get the shoot which is free of charge and one free picture it is so you can see the style of photographs you want and what the photographer is like. If you want to buy more pictures you can but dont have to. and if you like the photographer you can book them for your wedding if you want but again you dont have to.

Red -dragon I am wedding photographer myself and I don't think there will be any hidden costs involved either. People that think seriously about their business wouldn't risk their reputation. Well I wouldn't ...

Emily-Jane there is no such thing as not photogenic people there are bad photographers ! Ha ha

I love to do pre wedding photo shoots, it is the best way for couple to know their photographer wee bit better.
Also looking at ready pre wedding photographs gives You incerdible happiness. You really start to see and feel Your wedding comming together. I love to shoot pre wedding sessions !

gemsy, i have had one and already have my photographer. the guy doing the shoot was fine with it cos he was hoping for us to pass on how good he was. he liked the idea of the scheme too. i would do it, just make sure u tell the photographer u choose that u already booked one for ur day so they know xx

As has been stressed by the boss man above these are for those who HAVENT got their photographer already!
The idea of this scheme is for you to get to know the photographer before your wedding before you decide to book them or not! You obviously dont have to book them but that is the idea of this whole scheme!!!

If you have already booked your wedding photographer please please please let them know this before you book your free session as they then have the right to refuse you the free shoot as like I said this is not what this scheme is for, it is for them to get furture business, not just us getting a freebie!
If too many brides to be get the free shoot with no intention of booking them for the wedding the scheme WILL be pulled as it has to benifit us AND the photographer........no beneift to them means they will pull out of it, meaning no scheme and furture members loose out!!!

As this is a new scheme there are obviously flaws and things to iron out like most things!
Which is why we (the mods and the boss man) have appealed to peoples better nature and asked brides to be to be truthful to their chosen photgrapher if they do book a shoot and tell them that they have got a wedding photographer already.
It is then down to that photographer to say yes or no!
Ian is in the process of changing things so brides with only 4-5 months to go before the wedding, so will more then likely already have their photographer, will not be receiving this offer!

I think this is an excellent try-before-you-buy scheme. I've already booked mine, so won't be partaking, but if I wasn't so certain from the start on who I wanted then I would have loved this opportunity. Great for brides that aren't 100% sure.

Had a really good shoot today just awaiting the log in for the website to access our pictures :)

Hi everyone, I've been off here for quite some time but we had our photo shoot last Friday. The photographer was amazingly friendly and made us feel right at home, by the end of the evening we felt as though we'd known him for years. We went for a nice walk in the countryside in a quiet little village then finished off with a drink and talked about his wedding packages and looked at some of his albums. I can say that we were very impressed with his work and hopefully we will be able to book him this week when we have gone through our budget :-)

I advise approaching the photographers near Scarborough (and visit him/her for the free photoshoot) x

We had ours done Wednesday picked them up Thursday, no pressure, was fun, and love the shots we took. Unfortunately I have a habit of having my eyes closed in most photo's. We went to photo memories in Gillingham Kent. Richard was a true professional.

Got my shoot on Thursday, thankfully my h2b has recovered from his burns(or visually on his face he has) ...but what do we wear! Any advise welcome

Both Nick and Anne were very welcoming towards us and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic shoot and would definitely recommend them to others for any kind of photography. We will be using them for our wedding if they are available when we finally set a date!

getting excited to see my pictures now :) this week is so long... hope we like them and have found our photographer

Had our photos done today :D we went to see Sylvio Dokov (Lifestyle Photograph) in Telford. Had a fantastic time we really enjoyed ourselves and felt really relaxed, can't wait 2 get our photos cause if we are as happy with them as we are with Sylvio we will be booking him for our wedding :)
