Although 3 years away, I think the consensus between my H2B and I is that the colour theme of the wedding will be purple. It was a great idea! The two little flower girls would wear a dark purple, H2B would wear a black suit with purple cumberbund and tie and handkerchief, and I would wear a pale lilac dress...do you think I can find a PALE lilac dress? NO! I was looking even for prom dresses and there are HOT PINK, LIME GREEN, all the colours of the rainbow, BUT NOT LILAC. Lol. I know I have loads of time, but it really annoyed me.
My alternative is to find pale lilac for the flower girls and have a white dress for me with a purple trim. Yes, I think that'll be nice...

have you looked at the designer alfred angelo, he makes wedding dresses and then you can pick the color of colour insert from your dress from 50 different colours, he was fetured in the feburary/march eddition of Wedding magazine. alternativly have you tried ebay. i know this sounds a bit daft but yu can send your exact measurements to china and they hand make a variety of dresses from a desiner look in any colour for only a fraction of the cost. hope this helps a little and good luck finding your dress. xxx

Ebay? I got my bm dresses from there all in size 16s due to them all or near enough size 8s now and I got 6 for £408 x

Funnily enough, I have been looking on ebay! They have some gorgeous prom/wedding dresses. I have 3 in mind, but they are bright purple and I'm not sure if I should get married in a colour again. I got married in red last time...
Ah well, long time yet to go.

my dress is ebay/alfred also if i can get the same dress made to measure for a fraction of the cost why not. they do have some beautiful dresses and like everyone says you can change the colour to suit you xxx
