I am having a shoe dilema. I love my shoes but think I will want to change them later because they have high heels.
What are other people doing or have done?

i was thinking about having 2 but have decided to have just the one and take them off when i am sitting down for the meal, and knowing me i will take them off at the reception as i dance the nite away!! i usually do on nites out so my ates wouldn't expect anything different from me on my wedding day! xx

See, I wonder about this because I won't be able to cope in heels all day, but then won't the dress be too long if you switch to flats?

I have heels at the minute but am considering flat shoes for later in the evening for dancing and so that I dont fall over when I've drunk too much. Hopefully everyone else will be a bit tipsy and wont notice the 3" loss of height!

im thinking about having two, one stappy pair for the day and then maybe a pair with a smaller or no heel for the night, im not one for wearing heels so i know i wont cope, as for the dress being too long i never really thought of that so maybe its worth taking both pairs of shoes with you when you try the dress on just so you can get a feel of things. good luck X

I'm with Nic - get 2 pairs but nothing to do with the pain, just because shoes are cool!

I'm really struggling to decide between 2 pairs of shoes so I think I'm going to get both although both will have 6" heels!

Yes, yes! That's what I've been worrying about too. People must manage it though because they do change. But then they ask you to bring your shoes for heel height at the fitting....too confusing for me!

I'm not too fussed about the dress being a little too long in the evening, as traditionally they were supposed to have tails that dragged along the floor anyway.. lol x

I was thinking of changing my dress too! I have bought one to change into as I think mine will start to feel heavy later on!

I'm going to wear heels for the day and wedges for the evening they are both six inches high but i wear the this high normally and find wedges easier my pictures are on my profile if you'd like to see them x

That's what I'm doing, I'll wear the big dress and heals until it becomes unbearable and then changing into flats and a looser more flowing dress that's comfortable to dance in!

I'm sure mine will feel heavy too, but don't think I will be able to bring myself to take it off.

I suppose the dress will bustle up, which will make it shorter x
