We are struggling to find our honeymoon!!! Please help We want a hotel, on the beach, nice rooms All Inclusive Preferably adult only but not a problem if it is not 4 * minimum and we will be going early - mid Sept Bit more special than we would usually book for our family holiday with the kids
If anyone has been to either country and stayed somewhere that would tick all the boxes above, please can you let me know

i went to paphos in cyprus most hotels there have a beach close by some better than others, most of them are 4* s and above but the place itself is absoutley stunning loved every minute of it, if we didnt have so many children between us i would be going there to get married myself:-)

I went to & got married in paphos, cyprus. highly reccomend it. Although my hotel wasnt on the beach it was still lovely & no children stay there, its mainly older people but thats what i loved about it so much xx

I've been to Turkey & Cyprus & I would say that Cyprus is the better out of the two. I agree with the others Paphos is amazing x

I have lived in Cyprus & I have been on holiday alot to Turkey soooo... I would say Turkey if I had to chose :)

I highly recommend: Blue Lagoon Beach, Olu Deniz. Turkey.

I havent been to Cyprus but I spent 2 weeks in Icmeler in Turkey and I absolutely loved it.....In fact that is where I wanted to go on honeymoon, or Olu Deniz......but the honeymoon was H2Bs choice and he didnt choose Turkey. :(

I have been to Icmeler and it is lovely although imho I found some of the restaurants a bit "brits abroad" if you know what I mean! lol! We are going to Belek in Turkey for our h/moon. All the resorts are 4 or 5 star and are all inclusive and on the beach. I can't wait! (oh and we're going 17th sept so the same time of year you'd be going!) xx

Which hotel did you stay in? we stayed in Club Aquarium, right at the top of the bloody hill, the very last stop on the transfer bus, but the view was to die for. and thats where I will stay again if we go.

Back to the point in question...I would choose Cyprus over Turkey, I have been to both and Cyprus is my definite favourite, it's beautiful and full of lovely people. Turkey for me was simply too hot!

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.
The 'opposing' female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire.
Both of you have forgotten your purses.
It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.
The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.
Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.
She prepares to throw her purse to you.
If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes.
At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and, *whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes.
Always remembering that until the purse had *actually been thrown* it would be plain wrong to be forward of the other shopper.

**UPDATE**
SO.....as lovely as both Cyrprus & Turkey are, I had a little bit of a moment and saifd to H2B that Honeymoon is supposed to be a "once in a lifetime, amazing trip, luxurious and very special, not something you would usually book" kinda thing! He agreed but we had the whole money issue, 2 young children staying behind and would mean asking grandparents to look after for longer and time off work.
Enter my brain wave! Bear with me here!!! I turn 30, 6 months after the wedding, I have always said I do not want a party but want to do something special (we were thinkijng an break at centre-parcs or somewhere UK based, maybe a quick 2hr plane ride to somewhere slightly warmer) Weather for the further destinations on our list is much mich better in January than September..........so............ Minimoon after wedding (thinking cottage in the peak/lake district) Then belated Honeymoon/30th birthday in January to some where hot, special, luxurious and amazing!!!!

Aruba, Mexico (weather i hear is not great in Jan though for Mexico) Cuba, jamaica nthats the kind of places we are thinking. H2B at work now so I will be keeping myself busy tonight checking out the weather and finding places that WOW me to show H2B x
