H2B and I have been discussing our wedding rings recently. I'm getting a platinum one to match my e-ring, but H2B would quite like a tungsten carbide ring as its different. He doesn't want gold and thinks anything with a silver colour will look odd (I sort of agree, it wouldn't match his skin tone at all!) Does anybody elses H2B have a ring made in this material?
I've done some research and it sounds like anok material, but apparently there's nickel in it to bind it together; I thought nickel could cause skin irritations and wasn't put in rings these days?

I'm pretty sure it won't have nickel in it but it is VERY difficult to resize a tungsten carbide ring. You might want to have alook at Titanium which isn't a highly polished silver colour - its darker and many guys prefer it to gold or Platinum/Palladium
Its also difficult to resize but not as bad as the tungsten rings

H2B and I are having Tungsten,
It does come in a couple of different colors tho so get him to try some on, they also look completely different in different shapes so get him to check out flat and D shape
My partner is also going for a tungsten ring. he loves the colour also and is always keen to go for something slightly different. It does't at all match my wedding ring which is my nan's old wedding ring with gold, silver and various gemstones but if he's happy....
Soon to be joined together as the Wheeler family, can't wait

my h2bs engagement ring is tungstan and he loves it too! its an awesome heavy metal so u know you wearing it!! he'll prob have a tungsten wedding ring underneath his engagement ring!! :)
