First of all, I'm a 22 year old mother to three amazing boys - Connor who is 6 in January, Kyden who is 2 and Zackary who is nearly 6 months.
I didn't have the easiest of pregnancies at all. I had severe hyperemesis gravidarum with all three and spent so much time in hospital on the drip. With my pregnancy with Zackary I was put on medication called Cyclizine and it was a god send, I actually started to enjoy my pregnancy.
I would love to add to the family after the wedding but I'm really not sure I'm ready to go through hyperemesis again. OH works so I'd have to cope on my own which isn't good when you're being sick 30 times per day and passing out. I was wondering if I started the cyclizine as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test then that might help with the sickness rather than starting the medication AFTER being diagnosed with hyperemesis.
Has anyone been through the same thing?
I don't know whether to wait until I am certain I'm ready to face it again or just go for it and get the awful 9 months out the way. Either way, it's going to be worth it.

Maybe not but the doctor has said that it's almost certain I will get it in every pregnancy. There's only one time I haven't been sick in a pregnancy and I miscarried at 8 weeks. The hyperemesis, to me, is a sign that everything's going well.
I get what you mean about enjoying married life and my three boys. We are taking them on holiday in June and definitely wouldn't like to be throwing up every day then. I just can't help but want another when I look at them. It's a hard decision and a very confusing one. If I'm not 100% certain I'm ready to face hyperemesis again then I should wait, right?
Suppose I am still young (don't feel it though lol) and do have plenty of time.

I hope that which ever way you decide to go your pregnancy is nicer than your previous ones. You have youth on your side waiting a year or so won't hurt. It's purely up to you and you soon to be hubby to decide between you. Good luck :)

Take the time to enjoy your marriage with your 3 boys and hubby before you try again, especially if you're doubting it at the moment, like it has been said, you have youth on your side and have plenty of time yet x x

After having a long hard think about it and a talk with OH, we have decided to wait atleast two years before we TTC. We're going to have some "us" time first and enjoy married life. And find a bigger house lol. Thanks for all the replies :)
