Hi ladies, can I have your thoughts on transportation, please.

Our church is 6 miles away from the hotel. However, it is in a village, in the middle of nowhere. Most of our guests have their own transportation and for them it should be fine, but my guests are all from abroad, so they are probably taking a taxi to the church. I was thinking about getting a taxi for them to go back from the church to the venue (a 16 seater mini van, nothing special). Also, I'm not getting a proper wedding car for myself as they cost a fortune. I thought about getting a executive taxi, in a fancy car, and that's it. In total, a executive taxi to take me to the church and back to the venue, plus a taxi for all the bridal party to go to the church (my guests), plus the taxi to take the guests from the church to the venue, would cost us about £100.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think it's a sensible idea really and I'm sure your guests will appreciate you've done that for them.

I agree with GF. Sounds like a good idea. We relied on family and friends to drive guests who came from abroad between the church and reception venue x

It sounds like a lovely gesture. Especially if they are staying in/near the venue.
