So there are many a thread on traditions that brides are either upholding or not doing....
You, the Bride, have the typical old new borrowed blue, sixpence, veil, not seeing groom night before... You, as Man & Wife, have the cutting of the cake, first dance, bouquet toss, garter toss.... (we have already established, MY flower's, MY garter, not anyone elses thank you very much :P)

I actually searched the net after seeing this post and all it goes on about is arriving on time o.O also helping in choices and things. It doesnt seem that there are many traditions for grooms.

So glad it's just not me!! Other than speeches & stag I couldn't really think of any other traditions that didn't involve us st their side!! Just shows its a womans world haha! And getting involved with wedding plans - I wish that was a tradition that way I could easily make him!! He asked me out of the blue yesterday 'what's next on the list to do then Hun?' i looked at him blankly and said well just looki for florist & cake at moment so nothing specific.... Later on I asked him why he had asked was he actually wanting to get involved - he said no I just thought I'd sound interested as nothing needs doing at moment (with a big cheeky grin) pfft men! Haha xx

Haha well we do have to love em I spose! He's a sweetheart really, apart from the fact he wants the cake as the Disney castle & a tier for WBA.... Erm hell no! To both! He can have a separate WBA groom cake as surprise but only Disney about cake is Mickey & Minnie on top!!! X

Hmmm....! In fairness I'd trust mine, he's a good organiser when it comes to fun things to do. He'd plan the perfect holiday and then forget the blinkin passports, so as long as I was in charge of the boring stuff we'd be fine! :D

Oh my madhen lucky u, there is no way i would trust my H2B to organise the honeymoon his idea of a holiday and Mine are very different and it takes us ages to orgaise a compromise lol x
He would take me to vegas (not that thats a problem as would like to go there) bt not as honeymoon as he would plan it so was there same time as poker tournament was so wouldnt see him lol !

Haha I saw this thread and I was like 'I have nooooo idea!'
I'm lucky that my H2B is getting really involved. He's going to email the catering team with numbers and ideas of what we want (mainly because it's confusing me!) and I'm hoping he and his brother, who is his best man, will be sensible in choosing what suit to hire.
As for tradition, he'll have a stag do, which the best man is keen to organise, but he's being sensible in not going abroad (much to the best mans disappointment) or getting plastered.... we'll see!

oh dont get me started on suits....my OH keeps 'joking' that him and his best man (which hes asked his best mate but not sure if itll be him or his bro now - see useless!!) that they will be wearing the suits from Dumb and Dumber..... Im actually scared its not a joke.... x

Haha that's a scary thought! I've already banned the best man from wearing eye liner, which he often wears to gigs. I can only imagine he'll go against his word as he seems to see me as his sister now, and sisters are there to be annoyed!

Im sure he wont, if he knows you dont want him to for your big day im sure he'll cooperate and anyways if he wears it to gigs, your day isnt a GIG so he can stuff it haha xx
