This might sound like a silly question (& sorry if there's a thread on this, I couldn't find one for this specific question!)
Do we have to get favours for everyone at the top table too? As obviously they will be getting gifts, so is that instead of favours? xx

As we are making our own favours then it won't work out as much extra cost to give the top table some too. Although i see your point, you'll be getting them gifts anyway so i wouldn't imagine that favours would be expected aswell x

I'd never thought about it either until last night, don't know why it suddenly popped into my head lol. I think we will do the top table too, I don't like the thought of them not having favours, even though they'll have special gifts lol xx

Personal preference hun. We are having Macmillan Pins on each name place card as favours. Our top table will be my wtb and myself, my best man and his partner next to me and maid of honour and her partner next to wtb. BM and MoH will be getting gifts but they will also have pins on their name place cards. Plus we are not giving gifts in front of everyone, they will be given in private to avoid wedding politics :s Your day, you decide :)

my favours will be lottery tickets for that night rolled up and tied in a bow with tartan ribbon everyone will get one..hope we get a winner x

I made all my favours so it cut down on cost by a fortune, so I have included top table in getting them as well. :)

Our favours won't be on any of the tables, we've done a help yourself thing with a vintage sweet cart with personalised bags and sweets etc!!

Personal choice Hun like you said they get gifts anyway, your top table are more likely to want a keepsake more than others though x

I agree with Tori....most favours will be left behind or chucked (it's happened at every wedding I've been to, anyway - although I'm sure it wouldn't stop the guests from grumbling if there weren't any!) however I think the top table will appreciate them more.

We are giving everyone a favour. Im even given one to my two photographer and my harpist as its just a little something. The ladies are having bath bombs and the men are brandy and we will have loads left over that why we decided to do that.
It all depends on what you and your H2B wants.
