I wasn't having a top table as such as I wanted to be a round one so it's easier to talk to everyone. However now we're up to 70 for the wedding breakfast, I think an odd number of tables won't work so am thinking we will need a normal long top table. I've hired big tall centrepieces for the round tables that would just look odd on a long table (pic on my profile if anyone wants a peek) so I'm at a loss as to how to decorate the top table bar some flowers. Any ideas?

wer having the round layout and we also have 70 guests,iv worked it so we have 3 tables on the left dance floor in the middle,3 on the right and ours in the middle at the top of the dancefloos if that makes sense lol

Yeah - maybe I'll ask my marquee man who I'm hiring the tables and chairs from if he can plan it around 7 tables because if he can I'd much prefer it! Glad I'm not the only one not keen on the long table thing!
