My Parents split up along time ago & still get one but my dad doesn't really get on with my mums new husband & my dad has only just started dating someone. H2B parents are still together but I seem to remember them moaning about them not being seated together on the top table of H2B's brothers wedding! Do I just sit them where I want them sit?! I just want everyone to enjoy there day & i think if i was on a top table, i would want to sit with my partner??!!!!

I'm going to have parents sitting with their other half - I'd like them to be comfortable when they're already in the spotlight x

just makes them feel a bit more at ease plus your brother or sister will feel more special and involved :)

we not having out parents on the top table! as our parents havent met, and also they will not get on completely different people.. hubbys mum is so closed and dont do social events, my guess is she will be in her hotel room for most of the night where my mum is a very social person!
so we are either going to have the top table with just me hubby to be, best man, my best guy mate who is giving me away and 2 of my best girl mates who are doing a speech~!
and then our parents will be on seprate tables near the top table with the ushers and rest of bridemaids and some of either family!
also hubby to be's mum is pretty controling and i dont want her to trying to control my hubby to be while eatting our wedding breakfast! lol x

My parents are not together and both remarried and my OH lost his mum when he was little and dad now re-married. We felt we needed to involve all our step parents or none at all to keep it fair. So we are having a top table but going to be round and in the middle of the room with the other tables around us. Then having blood parents only on the table but seperated out then their partners sat directly behind them on another table so not too far away xx

Millz I love the thought of having the 'top table' as the middle table instead - what a great idea :) x

It makes it more comfortable as not just talking to person next to you but across the table too and we can see all our important people around us xxx
