Just wondering what you are all doing regarding jewellery!
my dress is pretty simple, with crystal detailing under the bust, and I have bought a gorgeous handmade crystal side tiara, drop earrings and a bracelet. Would you also wear a necklace or keep ur neck bare?
dont know if I would feel a bit naked without something round my neck but I havent seen anything dainty that would go, as I feel chunky (which the necklace was that actually goes with the earrings) wld b a bit too much?!

I think it's hard to find the right balance, my neck look pretty bare without a necklace, however when I put my shrug on it looks too busy. I think its finding the right necklance which will suit, but looking at a few brides some don't even bother with a necklace xx

I had matching earrings and necklace but didn't bother with a bracelet (don't really like them and never usually wear one) - and wore my watch as it was dressy. I got mine at Past Times so won't part with them now as they can't be bought again as the shop has gone out of business.

I think if your dress is fairly simple then you can definitely accessorise it right up without looking over the top.

If it's a strapless dress I would defeinitly wear a necklace otherwise your neck might look a bit bare?

My dress is strapless so I'll def be wearing a necklace: probably a vintage crystal one of my mum's, as my something old and something borrowed. I never wear strapless dresses without necklaces, I think you need something to break the expanse of skin up with.

I won't be wearing earrings though as I don't have my ears pierced, and won't have any crystals in my hair, so my jewellery will consist of a necklace and matching bracelet, plus my engagement ring, then the divers on my back :-)

Divers are single-point piercings: mine are clear crystals which are approx 5mm wide, and I have 3 going down my spine in a row, starting at the nape of my neck :-) They won't be very noticeable with my veil, but will be when I take it off, and I kind of count them as jewellery because I like to make them part of my outfits :-)

I think it depends on how long your earings are - if they are super dangly it may look a bit much. You just need to try it all on a see. Maybe take a pic so we can have a look? x

pinkwink: the wrist one was really not painful, it was more like an uncomfortable pinching then tugging sensation; I would honestly say getting my ears done was worse (though quicker)!

The lowest one on my back hurt though; apparently there's lots of nerve endings there :-s

And yeah, I think trying everything on is a good idea; I'll def be doing that before deciding on my final jewellery, to make sure it all goes and is the look I want (kind of vintagey and a bit bling, as like yours my dress only has a little bit of 'bling' under the bust, but not OTT)
